Fifteen intrepid students and three leaders will leave for Brazil the afternoon of January 4. I, along with the fifteen students, will remain for six weeks to learn about the history, economics and culture of Brazil through the lens of agriculture and natural resources. I can’t wait to lead this group! They are inquisitive, kind and supportive of each other. 
I’m ready! Once this program is complete, it will represent one year abroad on behalf of OSU for me. This is also my 19th time traveling abroad on either site visits or with students for OSU. Six continents and only Africa to go!
