Q: What brought you to Japan?
A: It’s been my home for the past 37 years.
Q: How has living in a different country changed your life?
A:Living in Japan has allowed me to not let things bother me and develop a want to help others more. New york can make you cold and selfish, The people in Japan can make you warm though and I’ve been able to do the same for others.
Q: What advice do you have for Black youth and creatives?
A: You should give things a try, “Explore your horizons, it’s good to learn how the rest of the world feels. Sometimes Americans are isolated from the rest of the world. Don’t be afraid to travel.
