Tsunami and Hurricanes

Tsunamis and severe storms (cyclones and hurricanes) are a major natural hazard to coastal regions worldwide. We study aspects related to identifying paleo-tsunami and hurricane deposits in the stratigraphic record of sediment cores and tsunami generated by submarine landsliding.
