Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Vision Science 5998

The College of Optometry at The Ohio State University has opportunities for undergraduate students to participate in research. In the Bailey Vision Laboratory, you will participate in clinical research that includes patients of all ages. All of our current research projects include opportunities to work with pediatric research subjects. When you enroll in VS 5998, you must complete a total of research 25 hours over the course of a semester. Our laboratory runs year-round, including the May Session and Summer Semester. Please contact Dr. Melissa Bailey, the Laboratory Director, for more information.

Federal Work Study

Students with a financial aid package that includes Federal Work Study may also participate in the same research activities as students who are enrolled in VS 5998. This opportunity is available as long as the student has not reached the limit of his/her aid package.
