Players: The Players would be the Airbus and American Airlines. The reason why Airbus would be a player is that they supplied American Airlines with this aircraft and they have the power to stop giving American Airlines this aircraft as well as allowing American Airlines to test their aircraft. American Airlines is a player is because they have the power to not use this aircraft but this also allows them to use this aircraft for a flight that they weren’t able to go to before.
Context Setters: Pilots, flight attendants, and ground crew would classify as context because they could say that the aircraft takes a lot of maintenance and would be hard to operate. These people can tell American Airlines this and it could make the aircraft leave the American Airlines air fleet.
Subjects: The subject, in this case, would be the customers because this will allow them to see if it will open new routes for people to travel on.
Crowd: The crowd would be other airlines as well as other aircraft manufacturers. A reason why other airlines would be a crowd is that it will allow them to see if this aircraft can even work for them as well as see with their competition is up to. Also, this can be said on the same point of view as the other aircraft manufacturers to see if there is a market for this type of aircraft.

Over the course of my lifetime, I’ve been to many places and to rank the one that was the most fun is going to be difficult to tell. But before I say my top trip I’m going to say my second most fun trip and that trip was going to the Dominican Republic. The reason why it was ranked so high was that the time I want to the Dominican Republic the World Cup was happening and the rest of the world is into soccer. So I got to witness a watch party for Columbia in the World Cup and that match was against Uruguay. The watch party was in a sports bar and you could feel the atmosphere for that match in the watch party. At the party people had vuvuzelas and when Columbia scored a goal the place went insane and everyone was cheering. Columbia did end up winning the match so the environment was a good feeling to be in.
Some many ask what might top a world cup watch party. Well, I will tell you and the place that topped the Dominican Republic was Jamaica. My experience in Jamaica is hard to match because I had so much fun stuff to do while being in Jamaica. For example, I want zip-lining for the first time and while zip-lining I was able to zip-line from tree platform to tree platform. Another thing that I did while doing the zip-line action. There was one part where I repelled from a tree as well as. But the best part of zip lining was going through the trees and going through a massive gap to look at the beautiful forest around before going back into the trees. Another cool thing that I did in Jamaica was visited Bob Marley’s birth and resting place. While being a Bob Marley’s place I had the opportunity to sit on his thought rock and when sitting on the rock you could look out to see the lovely mountains that surround you while you sat on the rock. One of the last things that topped this trip off was seeing the beautiful sunrise and sunset. I took some epic shots of the sunset and I’ll share one with you in this post. But the things I did in Jamaica are probably that I’m not going to forget anytime soon.

Accident Following Engine Failure At Takeoff Claims Decathlon Pilot
At Toronto’s Buttonville Municipal airport, they had an aircraft accident that happened on January 24, 2019. The aircraft that was being used was a Bellanca 8KCAB Decathlon and a student pilot was soloing in the aircraft at the time. When the student took off everything was going okay, but 90 seconds the student pilot reported hearing odd sounds coming from the engine and the student transmitted a “Mayday” to tower. The student tried to make it back to the runway but wasn’t able to and slam into the ground and died from the impact forces from the ground. From the reports, the weather was fairly good, with good visibility and with a few scattered clouds. Another report said that the aircraft just an annual inspection for legal operation. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada looked into this and said that the engine wasn’t generating at full power before impact. Also, the oil pressure was near the bottom of the safety limits for that aircraft. So far they have not able what caused the engine to act like that because after the accident they inspected the engine wasn’t able to see any signs of the engine losing power.
Looking at this article communication was critical because if communication as a bit better the accident could have been prevented or give the student pilot a chance to survive the wreck. For example, there could have been a lack of communication when the aircraft was being inspected and things were forgotten during the inspection test on the engine. Another error could have happened during the preflight and the flight instructor wasn’t around to for the preflight checklist. If there was better communication with the pilot and the people who service the aircraft then the chance of this error could have prevented.

Blog 1 Introduction Trevor Williams
Trevor Williams is from Easton, Pennsylvania as well as a 2nd year at The Ohio State Univesity. I am apart of the Morrill Scholars Program, Bell National Resource Center and for student organizations, I’m a member of the Buckeye Space Launch Initiative. I currently studying Logistic Management with a minor in Aviation.
The reason why I selected to have an Aviation minor was that it allowed me to gain access to a new field that I never thought about doing and taking Aviation class on campus really has supported my interest in the aviation field. Ever since I was 5 years old I had an interest in aircraft and that interest started with World War II aircraft. From there my parents brought me a flight simulator game and from there it increased my interest in flighting more. As time passed I gain an interest in being a fighter pilot and telling about all my stories being a fighter pilot. After that phase of my life, I wanted to own my own transportation company and the aviation field was a good way to see if I even liked the transportation industry. So far I have enjoyed all the classes that I’ve been taking in aviation and I think it’s going to be a good industry for me to be in.
When I graduate I was planning on going to grad school and when I’m in grad school I was planning on to continue my quest in getting my pilot’s license. So for grad school, I was thinking about going to a school that has a warmer climate as well as a lot clear sky so I can get my pilot’s license faster. After grad school, I was thinking about either working for rail company or an airline but I haven’t decided yet. My grand goal is to own my on rail company and bring passenger trains back to the United States and allow more people to travel to the United States as well as explore this continent.
