Shannon McLoughlin Morrison, Ph.D.:
Born and raised in Columbus Ohio, Dr. Morrison did her undergraduate degree at Denison University and completed her graduate degrees here at OSU. She currently serves as the Curriculum and Assessment Manager for the Center, in addition to teaching Aviation Communication and a course called Building a Diverse Workforce in Aviation.
Dr Morrison also does work around diversifying the aviation industry and encouraging women, people of color, LGBTQ, and other underrepresented groups to pursue the field.
Dr. Morrison is an avid runner, is married to a pilot, and has a rescue cat, and two rescued rabbits.

Adam Beckman, M.S.:
Originally from Cincinnati Ohio I decided to attend the Ohio State University where I graduated with a degree in aviation in 2001. Â After graduation I enrolled at Embry-Riddle where I received a masters degree in operations. Â I am currently completing my Military History degree from OSU. I am entering my 4th year working for the Center for Aviation Studies where I have taught classes in Business Aviation, Communication, and Air Transportation. Â I am also the Director of the Dispatch Program at the University. Â I currently hold a private pilot with instrument rating, a advanced instrument ground instructor, dispatch and remote pilot certificate.
I have survived 15 years of marriage to my wonderful wife. Â We have four children which occupies every waking moment of my life.
