It is so difficult to schedule a driving test with BMV. I have to do that on Dec. 6th. It seems that there are always a group of people trying to their licenses.

Carmen has experienced some technical difficulties recently and thus has been shut down for a couple of days. I just realized that there are some study materials that I need to download from Carmen have not been done yet. How should I solve this problem? Talk to professors? At least, this tells me that do everything right away.

Recently, I have been trying to find model train shop which sells a specific brand “KATO”. Does anyone here also like model trains? Thanks.

It is extremely annoying that some professors in my department do not reply emails. Recently, I have to send an urgent email to one of my professors to ask about a potential project in her lab. She did not reply my email until I visted her in person.

Do you know that you are obligated to reply emails as you are receving salary from the university, Dr. Kimberly Powell? Everybody is very busy nowadays.

I did not start my digital story assignment yet and do find it is very difficult to work on it. As mentioned in my previous blog, my idea is to introduce myself by letting others know what I am working on in my research field and asking my colleagues to help me with the digital story. Since I am working on MRI, a sort of “fancy” and “expensive” imaging modality in most of medical centers, it would be interesting to show our equipment room and the operation of the whole MRI system. Keep that in mind, nothing is less expensive in MRI research: a simple plastic imaging coil will cost you a Porche. Yes, that is being said, professors who are working with MRI have to have a great amount of funding to keep the system running.

It is really difficult to write the argument paper about plagiarism. The most difficult part is to figure out any example that could support my points. As I am not very familiar with plagiarism, this has become tough. Still working on it.
