Motivation is the power to complete a task or goal. It allows a person to drive through any unwanted or mitigating standards to complete that said goal or task. However, like gasoline in a car, our motivation tends to run out when we need it the most. Here are 20 things we can do to maximize our motivation in an efficient way.

Sometimes there are moments in our life where it feels like we are at our lowest point. When we are at our lowest, our motivation to do what needs to be done suffers. Choosing your Enviroment.

Having the perfect environment is essential for an online student. Finding the right area to learn and study may sound pretty easy, but can get tricky if the student is not careful.  The study area should be quiet with few distractions. It should allow the student to be comfortable, but not too comfortable.

 

Time Management

 

Utilizing one’s time in either a “brick and mortar” or an online setting  can make or break a student’s success. If a student has great time management skills. If a student has great time management skills they will: complete there assignments on time, have plenty of time to balance their study and personal time, and easily succeed in their class. If a student does not have the necessary skills to allocate their time, then they will easily be overwhelmed.

For online learning, there is a greater emphasis on time management. Since online learning is centralized on the student, the student must have greater discipline in allocating there time.

 

There are a few online tools that cater to time management. The most prevalent time management website is Trello. Trello allows you to prioritize your tasks through an electronic planner. It is accessible and easy to use for all students.
