I am a doctoral student in Foreign, Second, Multilingual Language Education (FSMLE). I received my MA TESOL from The New School and a BA in English and Music Management from Georgia State University. With over a decade as an English language teaching professional, I have taught English on three continents with the bulk of my tenure at King Faisal University in Hofuf, Saudi Arabia. My editorial experience includes positions with Plot(s) Journal of Design Studies, Pearson ELT, and TESOL Journal. As a bicultural applied linguist, my research aspirations include shifting dominant paradigms for transnational and diasporic realities in language education and improving textbook representation of Southwest Asian and North African learners.
My advisor is Dr. Peter Sayer.
At OSU, I presently teach Academic Writing for Multilingual Undergraduate Students through the Intercultural English Language Program‘s American English Writing Program.
