A mini tour

Ohio Living Westminster Thurber is absolutely beautiful, so I wanted to share a few photos with you about my day to day views! I live in an amazing studio apartment on the ninth floor of Thurber Tower. Despite the noise of traffic, I consider myself lucky because my balcony faces downtown! If you were curious about what my apartment looks like and my balcony view, check out my photos below!

  1. Hi Emily,
Leslie told us that one of your projects is way-finding. I have a suggestion for you.

I have been on a committee focusing on our parking lot. Before you moved in we got management to designate various parking areas with colored lines: white for residents, blue for disabled, yellow for visitors, and green for staff. We also asked for a sign to inform drivers.

A sign was placed to the left of entrance at the corner of the parking garages with a list of these designations. The text is fairly small and not very visible as you drive in.

Residents already know where they can park, as do staff. People with disabled permits always know to go near a building entrance to find parking.

The only information needed is a sign with much larger text that tells visitors where to park. We consider vendors visitors. The sign needs to say both.

    Hope this helps.
