We provide the following services for clients while educating the next generation of SLPs:

  1.  In-depth AAC evaluations, sometimes occurring over several sessions, in which we identify which device(s) may be most appropriate for the individual.
  2.  AAC funding applications, including applications for speech-generating devices and other equipment.
  3.  Ongoing and consultative therapy appointments, in which we provide training on how to use and program devices to meet clients’ needs and incorporate AAC into their daily lives.
  4. Community events for people who use AAC to meet and connect!
  5. Resources and training on the accessibility features in iOS software that enable communication.

All evaluations and therapy sessions are conducted by graduate students in the Speech-Language Pathology Master’s program at The Ohio State University. They are directly supervised by Amy Miller Sonntag, SLPD, CCC-SLP, who has over 25 years of experience in AAC.
