1/3 cup Hot Water

1 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
1/8 cup White Sugar
1/4 tbsp Oil
Pinch of Salt

1/4 tbsp Baking Soda
1 cup Warm Water

Directions:

  1. Mix Active Dry Yeast, 1/4 tsp White Sugar and Hot Water in a measuring cup.  Mix well and let sit for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Mix Flour, 1/8 cup White Sugar and salt.
  3. Combine the Yeast Mixture and Flour Mixture.  Add oil.
  4. Kneed dough for 10 minutes or until a firm round ball is created (you may need to add water or flour depending upon whether or dough is too firm to too wet.)

  8. Dip the pretzels in a mixture of water and baking soda.
  9. Lay pretzels on a well greased cookie sheet
  10. Add salt as desired.
  11. Put in the oven at 425 degrees for 6-10 minutes (or until golden in color.)
  12. Remove, let cool for 10 minutes then eat and enjoy.
