Very nice work, Katie. How might your results compare with age-matched women of the same age and other sociodemographic profiles? And would you think that older breast cancer survivors might have less symptom burden depending on the type of treatment they had undergone. Agree with the idea of interval between their diagnosis and self-reprot.
Hello Dr. Tate,
Thank you for your comment. I definitely would think that older breast cancer survivors might have more or less symptom burden depending on the type of treatment they had undergone due to a variety of factors (treatment length, medication side effects, invasiveness of the treatment, etc.). Additionally, comparing sociodemographic profiles with age-matched participants would be a very interesting layer to unpack in regards to this study.
Best,
Hannah
