Xingyan Kuang
Xingyan Kuang is a postdoctoral researcher in OSUCCC. She received her masters degree in software engineering from Sichuan University in China, then, was employed as a software engineer by a scientific software company for 2 years. Xingyan received her Ph.D. in 2014 from MUII. Her research interests include data integration of omics, biomedical and clinical data, development of database-supporting web application for data analysis and visualization, macromolecular (protein-protein, protein-nucleic acid and nucleic acid-nucleic acid) interaction database, macromolecular interaction network, bioinformatics of disease, data mining on Big Data, machine learning, structural bioinformatics, statistical modeling, database development, construction of prediction tools using data mining, machine learning and statistical modeling.
