Welcome to my website! I am the Fellow of Future Academic Scholars Training Program in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The Ohio State University. I am pursing my doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering advised by Prof. Ryan L. Harne in the Laboratory of Sound and Vibration Research (LSVR).  I received my B.S. (2013) and M.S. (2016) in Aerospace Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China. I was a visiting student at Technical University of Braunschweig and German Aerospace Center (2014-2015). I am a Student Member of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE).

My research experiences are mainly theoretical, numerical, and experimental investigations in
▪Structural dynamics, vibration, and acoustics
▪Active/passive noise and vibration control
▪Smart structure and material systems

Motivated by my curiosities, I am working to diversify and broaden my research areas into
▪Mechanical and acoustical metamaterials
▪Nonlinear dynamics and acoustics
▪Wave physics and ultrasonics
