The Charles E. McKee Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established January 13, 1961, by members of the Ohio Contractors Association and other friends of Mr. McKee. Income provides a scholarship for a fourth or fifth year civil engineering major who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Charles E. McKee attained the rank of Colonel while serving in the United States Army Corps of Engineers during World War II. After the war he served as the Executive Secretary of the Ohio Contractors Association, where he was instrumental in the construction of the Ohio Turnpike in the 1950s. He passed away in 1959.
