The Loren B. Wheaton and Ethel F. Wheaton Scholarship Fund was established in February 2018, with gifts from the estate of Barbara Jean Wheaton ’51 given in her parent’s name to honor the memory of her father, a 1923 graduate of the College of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.
Scholarships are awarded to students majoring in electrical or computer engineering. Barbara was a retired Ohio State employee in the Department of Pathology and a life-time resident of Columbus, Ohio. She passed away on May 15, 2017.
