Overview:
We take every request as collaborative opportunity and will work with the study partners on experimental designs and workflow discussions. The following costs were recouped to sustain basic lab operations and instrument maintainance. For inquiry, please contact us at zhu.2484@osu.edu.
Untargeted analyses using both positive and negative mode detections via Thermo Quantiva-QE system for polar or nonpolar compounds (ranging from ~150 to 700 depending on the sample matrix) using validated chromatography/mass spectrometry methods, and 15-25 internal standards.
Targeted analyses screen for small groups of metabolites with high importance in specific biological matrices. As needed, targeted assays can provide absolute quantification using sets of standards.

Other targeted analysis of metabolites from certain pathways or similar classes are available upon request. Assay cost is determined by materials costs (column, standards, etc.) and whether there is a need for quantitative analysis.
Please note:
Additional sample preparation cost for complicated sample types: $30/sample
Essential data processing and analyses are included in the service cost, for extended bioinformatic analyses, service fee may be charged at $80/hour
