WOOHOO Alessandra has graduated with her Ph.D!! Her thesis is:
Generation, Characterization, Standardization and Utility of a Zebrafish Model of Glioblastoma.
Alessandra will stay around until August to finish up her papers then will be moving to Boston for a postoc at Harvard. There she will continue studying cancer biology using zebrafish working with Dr. David Langenau.
The 20th annual CureSMA meeting was held in Disneyland in Anaheim CA June 16-18! We gave both a research talk and presented a family friendly poster. This is an excellent meeting because it combines both researchers, clinicians, and families affected by this disease.
