I lived 18 years of my life in Pakistan, before moving to Columbus, Ohio. The idea for this project was to combine the spaces of both locations. I picked two landscapes from each place, and put them into a single space with the use of technology. I printed photographs of the landscapes and made their illustrations. I also arranged these elements into a 3-dimensional virtual space. Experimenting with different mediums; illustrations of landscapes, original photographs, and virtual reality connect me with the space more. I explored how different mediums would impact the feeling of space. All these places have personal attachments and memories for me. I experienced how multiple locations feel when combined together. I share these experiences with the viewers to give them an experience of multiple spaces at once.
