Everyone can be a special

Everyone can be a special from the training.

No one can be perfect at the first time. There is no way to get easy and quick. Probably need some practice, or experience to settle down to make their own thing. There are many strategies to success a life. Make some habit for winning, posture, or management. I will focus on to say that motivation which relates mind set, and also some habit which lead to success in the life. I will introduce some method which I did.

Lindsay Pollak gives very practical tips to achieve careers to anybody by her book “Getting from College to Career”. If you have a dream like me to find a proper job after graduate the school and have balance well between studying and seeking a job. She has a guide 90 things to do find a job and it will help me to find out what I need to prepare and what I’m lacking to get a job. and it also help manage time efficiency and effectively. I inspired so many tips, however the things are very basic and should follow even though that I am not the senior year student.

  • Using Planner & To-do List : Set the schedule yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily. If you schedule advance and use planner, then you would not spend time meaningless. also, you would not miss the due dates if you have habit keep checking your planner.

  • Note taking habits : It is very important habit that makes you creatively. Human is creature of oblivion. It is very easy to forget things even you tried to memorize in your head. Never let your thoughts or valuable things from others disappears. Make your things by taking notes.

  • Write e-mail like a professional : It can be judge you by your e-mail if someone has never met you before. If your e-mail is unprofessional, informal, inappropriate, or incorrect, then it will be considered a failed one.  You should no longer send informal e-mails like sending them to your friends.
  • This is the applying and interview list. I did not have this kind of list before reading a book. I realized that I should make a ‘to-do’list to approach more tactically and wisely. First of all, I wrote down the companies name which I want to go, and I started to research which kind of jobs opening and hiring at that time. The time is very limited. I put the due dates and mark phone call interview and onsite interviews. I put a little comment additionally following the column on the right.

  • I want to show that my resume was not good looking before I applied some company. The resume is the first step the company looked on you. I learned from this book how to write the resume. I affected a lot of changes. After change the resume, the number of company which I applied offered me the interview. you can pass the first step with few changes of your resume.
  1. How to write the impact resume. She has very practical advices to compose perfect resume to get the hiring manager interesting on your resume in 6 SECONDS!
  2. The eye automatically goes to the top left of the page and then looks in “Z” pattern – top left, across right, down left and back right again.
  3. Your resume should be written in eligible fonts such as Times New Roman or Ariel
  4. Be sure to list your jobs in chronological order; your most recent position is at the top and then goes backwards from there.
  5. Tailor your resue to the specific position you are applying for. Be sure to only use relevant work experience that is related to the position they are hiring for.
  6. Make sure to read your resume over before sending. you would be surprised what you find when you have to take the time to verbalize rather than scanning over your resume and possibly missing details.
  • Prepare your interview. The author gives a detail regarding how to write down good resume, and also give tips preparing the  interview questions. The author gives some examples the companies usually asked in the interview. I made all about my answers and practiced a lot. I put post it on the walls and remind whenever sit on the desk.

  6. Share a conflict resolution
  • Become an active alumni, even before you graduate. An alumni will be a very valuable asset to you. It would become to build good networks. This is very good advantage from big university. It should be connected and shared the information or knowledge from them easily and quickly about your field.

Everybody know the importance about time management, memo, and networking for success. Also people know that it is hard to maintain everything. However, by practice, manage time well and taking a memo, you can be a special one in anywhere, the working place or in the school. You can do it as everyone did.
