Sophomore Year

As a sophomore, here at Ohio State, I have had the opportunity to spend some time learning and exploring some of what the university has to offer. I am grateful to have had this time to choose what I am most passionate about and ensure I can dedicate myself to that over my next three years at OSU. A goal that I had set for myself coming into college, last year, was to build connections with my fellow peers and faculty. I am glad to say, that upon reflecting on my time spent here on campus, I have been able to build lasting relationships that will help me succeed in years to come. Throughout my time here I have been able to adapt my original goals to what I am more passionate about today, for example, I am interested in further getting involved with local nonprofits to expand my horizons in regard to leadership and service. Along with out of the classroom experiences, in the greater Columbus area, a large goal of mine is to gain connections within my field of study, Landscape Architecture. As I enter my second year here, I have been able to join a professional group within the Knowlton School of Architecture, to ensure I network with professionals in the area and further advance my career.
