- My first takeaway from this class is the element of being able to work in groups online successfully. We learned different ways to make sure everything goes as planned, and the most efficient ways to do it. For example, everyone in the beginning should tell each other that they think their strengths and weaknesses are for the project and specialize in those. Communication is a major factor when working in groups.
2. My second takeaway from this class is how to read and analyze online texts. I used to not be the best reader and this class actually helped me be able to find the main point of each paragraph while I am reading. It also helped me carve out a general idea of articles and other types of readings.
3. My third takeaway from this class was to learn how to properly analyze if a source is an actually good source using the 5 Ws that we learned about in week 5. I find this very helpful because while getting my education there will be a lot of times along the way where I will need to be finding and analyzing sources, and I do find it very important to know if a source is strong enough to use for my research.
