12/13/17 Congratulations, Miguel!
BSGP graduate student Miguel A. Lopez, Jr., is among 40 doctoral students throughout the US to be chosen for the Yale Ciencia Academy for Career Development (YCA). The YCA is a year long NIH funded program aimed to develop traditionally underrepresented graduate students through direct mentoring, peer support, and networking. It utilizes STEM networks to enhance the engagement and participation of people from diverse backgrounds. Miguel will be traveling to the national AAAS meeting in Austin, Texas for the annual YCA program meeting in February, 2018.
Congratulations, Miguel!
