Great job, Randi!

BSGP graduate student Randi presented her work in a poster at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Retroviruses Meeting. Her poster title was “Roles of prototype foamy virus integrase domains in intasome function”. There were many visitors with excellent suggestions for additional experiments.

Lab PI Kristine Yoder was co-chair of the Integrase session of the meeting. BSGP graduate student Miguel Lopez also attended this year.

We were happy to be joined by many other OSU Buckeyes at the meeting!

Congratulations, Miguel!

BSGP graduate student Miguel Lopez has been awarded an NIH Diversity Supplement. This supplement provides funding for Miguel’s stipend, tuition, and some supplies for two years. We are grateful to the National Institute for General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) for recognizing Miguel’s accomplishments and potential.

Congratulations, Kirby, Ryan, and Alex!

Congratulations to all our undergraduate students – Kirby Sullivan, Ryan Messer, and Alex Northrop – for being awarded Summer Research Fellowships! We’re very proud of their achievements and excited to have them as a part of our team!

Thanks also to the OSU Office of Undergraduate Research & Creative Inquiry (formerly the Undergraduate Research Office). We appreciate your support of undergraduate scientists.
