The OSU Center for Retrovirus Research annual newsletter “Retro-Active News” is out!
The first retrovirus vaccine was developed at The OSU College of Veterinary Medicine in the 1980s. That vaccine prevents Feline Leukemia Virus. The financial success of the vaccine led to the establishment of the Center for Retrovirus Research. The highly collaborative center includes faculty from many OSU colleges studying HIV and HTLV.
It’s the first day of classes. Hooray!
More importantly, the OSU Buckeyes are playing the Oregon Ducks in the CFP National Championship game. Our own Miguel Lopez is attending the game in Texas!
Play a great game, Buckeyes! Have a great time, Miguel!
OSU plays Alabama in the Sugar Bowl on January 1, 2015. It’s been a wild season for the Buckeyes. The team was ranked #22 in September but came back to win the Big Ten Championship. Thanks for a great year of entertaining football.
