Courses Taught:

CHEM 2510/2520 (Organic Chemistry I and II)

-The main course objective is for everyone to gain a better understanding of the principles that govern organic chemistry. This course aims to develop an understanding of the common functional groups, bonding, conformations, stereochemistry and reactions of organic chemistry. However, the expectation is that the critical thinking and problem solving skills developed in this course will be applicable to any field of study.

CHEM 2540/2550 (Organic Chemistry Laboratory I and II)

-The main course objective is for everyone to gain a better understanding of the principles that govern organic chemistry in a laboratory setting.   This includes learning about laboratory technique, spectroscopy, and the integration of an undergraduate research project.
