THAT IS ME

Born in Changsha, Hunan, China, I think I am a classic Hunan girl, love spicy food, outgoing, and have an accent when speaking Mandarin. Currently, I am crazy about working out since I go to the gym every day. The passion began five months ago when I reached 65 kg. At first, I worked out simply to lose weight, but now for self-satisfaction. Recently, I learn to play the guitar on my own, and I can play ‘Liability’ by Lorde so far. Even though it is tough to make every string sound and remember every chord, I enjoy playing the guitar.

THAT WAS ME

I went to the First High School of Changsha. Generally, the kindergarten, elementary, and middle school I went to are close. Hence, basically, in the past 17 years, my daily activities were just within two blocks. Even though it is a narrow space, I got educations, met different types of people, and gradually figure out who I am. However, it does not mean that I never left my hometown; I am fond of traveling, which was cultivated by my parents. Since I was 3, my parents who are travel enthusiasts started to take me to see the world. I remember once when we were driving an off-road vehicle in a desert, and somehow the car turned over, which was pretty much the most exciting experience I have ever had. However, when I grew older, my parents valued to keep their romance, so they started to travel without me, which I think is “great”.

 THAT WILL BE ME

I first knew OSU from one of my mother’s friends, who graduated a couple of years ago. Then, I went to various websites to search for information. In fact, I was attracted by the RPAC at first. Then, I found that it is a huge campus, allowing me to meet people with different cultural backgrounds, and because all the schools I went to are small, which may be a shallow reason. Last but not least, Fisher College of Business that I applied is advanced, providing strong academic support and opportunities. Besides, I plan to minor in computer science next semester since I am always dreaming of getting into the IT industry.
