Position Description

At Classroom Services and the Digital Union we support approximately 400 classrooms and 4 Digital Union spaces across the Columbus campus. We help faculty, staff, and students with classroom technology, audio/video issues, classroom maintenance and upkeep. In the Digital Unions we also assist in creating digital content, graphics, video, and 3-D printing. Students who have worked here have developed tools used by the campus IT community, been hired within their field at the University and elsewhere, and gained valuable career experience.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides customer service and support in classrooms and Digital Union Studios
  • Assisting faculty, staff, and students with instructional technology, software use, and classroom AV systems including, projectors, computers, etc.
  • Provide assistance and troubleshoot issues
  • Perform daily maintenance of classrooms and labs
  • Assist Digital Union users with provided technology
  • Position may include occasional heavy lifting
