CFAES Invites you to Walk for Wellness in the YP4H Challenge

This YP4H/Virgin Pulse Challenge is specific to CFAES (and our HR & OTDI partners), it grew out of our recent Wooster Staff Council 4 dubs weekly walking program, as we strive to provide opportunities to promote whole-self wellness for all Ohio State members. Create a team of 5, have some fun rivalry with your colleagues and earn 250 points for walking an average of 7000 steps per day! Challenge runs for just 4 weeks: July 1 to July 28.

Challenge Name: CFAES Walks for Wellness
Start Date: Jul 01
About the Challenge: College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences invites you to join them in promoting whole-person health and wellness to sustain life through this team walking challenge. Gather your colleagues and create a team up to 5 participants. Individual participants can earn 250 points by tracking at least 196,000 steps, July 1 through July 28.
Challenge Rules:
Dates
• This challenge starts on Jul 01, 12 am local time, and ends on Jul 28, 11:59 pm local time.
• The last chance to upload your steps is Jul 31, 11:59 pm local time. Steps uploaded after this date won’t be counted in the final results. Try uploading daily—it’s more fun!
Teams
• Teams can have up to 5 participants.
• Try to have a full team of 5 to maximize your score.
Scores
• Team scores are based on total team steps.
• The more steps your team gets, the better your score.
• To contribute to your team score, upload steps from a fitness tracker or app.
• You can get credit for a maximum of 30,000 steps per day (so aim high)!
• The team with the most steps at the end of the challenge wins!
Good to Know
• If you leave the challenge, you have until Jun 30, 11:59 pm local time to rejoin. If you don’t rejoin by this date you won’t be able to participate in this challenge.
• Participant names and step counts may be shared with other challenge participants and administrators.
• You have up to 14 days to go back and enter steps prior to the upload deadline. Skip the heartache—join before the challenge starts and track daily!
