Every semester our department organizes a Slavic talent show (“Kapustnik”) at which students read poetry, sing songs, dance, and perform skits in the various Slavic languages. My students always actively participate and have won several prizes. Here my 4th-year Russian students and I are performing traditional Russian music and poetry in Spring 2014 (first prize!):
