Careers:

• Amy – Operations Manager, PPG Industries
• Stuart – Quality Assurance, DuPont

Family: 

• Two boys: Kyle, a sophomore at University of Cincinnati and Nathan, a senior at Strongsville High School

Activities:

• Enjoy outdoors with our boys – hiking, fishing, boating, and attending OSU football and basketball games!

DAVID MILLER  (’88 BSChE):

Career:

• Plant Manager, Tate & Lyle LLC

Family:

• Spouse, Jean Miller
• Daughters, Elaine (16) and Caroline (14)

Favorite Memories:

• My favorite memories were of the unit ops lab; running experiments, cranking out reports staying up all night.
• We had such a small class that we all got to know each other well and were a close knit group.

Activities:

• I spent about 15 years with Central Soya after graduation.  In 2003 Soya was bought and rolled into a JV between DuPont and Bunge called Solae.  I left after 22 years and jumped from soy beans to corn.
• I enjoyed my time at Soya. One of the highlights was a project I was involved in to create a novel soy protein product.  It was a challenging opportunity that involved simultaneous process and product development.
• I’ve got a variety of interests primarily making beer, running, rock climbing, and teaching my girls how to drive a car.
• I’ve run the Boston Marathon twice, including the 2013 event that included the tragic bombing.
• I’ve done some travel but I would say my most memorable trip was to Spain in 1991 when I ran with the bulls in Pamplona.
