Upcoming Ladies on the Land In-Person and Virtual Workshops

Do you own, lease, or manage land? Would an increase in confidence, improved communication skills, and helpful resources allow you to better navigate farmland leasing issues? If so, join this interactive farmland leasing workshop developed for women involved in all stages and aspects of agriculture! Workshop topics cover:

  • Assessing the risk-reward continuum for tenants and landowners
  • Farmland leasing best practices
  • Enhancing communication skills
  • Developing equitable rental rates
  • Answers to your questions and concerns

An in-person workshop will be held Wednesday, October 20 at the OSU Extension Putnam County Office located at 1206 East Second Street, Ottawa, OH from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Program cost is $25 per person which includes a box lunch and all educational materials. RSVP is required by either calling 419-523-6294 or visiting go.osu.edu/ladiesontheland. There will also be a two-evening virtual option November 8 and 9 from 6:30-9:00 p.m.
