Applications Available for 2020 Master Gardener Training
The Master Gardener Program could be for you if………..
- You want to learn more about plants and gardening.
- You are eager to participate in a practical and intensive training program.
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge with others.
- You have enough time to attend training and volunteer your time to the community.
This program is a volunteer educational program designed to meet the horticultural needs of citizens of Ohio. Its purpose is to train volunteers and use their expertise to teach people about plants, their culture, and their importance to the environment and to our quality of life.
2020 training will begin on February 12 and run through May 20. Classes will be held Wednesdays from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. at 1425 East High St., Bryan, OH. Training will consist of a variety of instructional courses taught by experts on topics ranging from lawns, trees, vegetable gardening, soil fertility, and more.
To complete the application process, fill out the application packet at go.osu.edu/WmsCoMGVTraining and return to: OSU Extension, Attn: Stephanie Karhoff, 1425 East High St. Suite 112, Bryan, OH 43506 or email to karhoff.41@osu.edu. Applications are due February 3, 2020. Hard copies of the application are available at the Williams County OSU Extension Office, or may be mailed by request.
Cost for the complete program (including comprehensive manual, handouts, and more) is:
- Residents of Williams County: $65 per person or $95 for a couple, payable by the first class
- Residents of other counties: $100 per person, payable by the first class
