The end is here.

It has been a pleasure and joy to venture through the understanding and complexity of leadership. A opportunity to engage and understand the many fascists of the world. How we can better ourselves and engage in the change we wish to seek.

To Dr. B and Tim- thanks for an enjoyable semester!

Together; we are diverse

Collectively each of us is different; collectively we are all the same. We come from different backgrounds and understandings. We enjoy many different things in life. Todays class was refelctive of the attituide and culture understandings we live. To think we are under the direction of the first black president is unique. To think that soon someday a woman might lead that charge. We are cultivating ourselves in a world wind of change and understanding. Its up to us to kindle that fire and continue to be the change and aceeptance we seek in the world.

Looking forward to an enjoyable break- Ill certainly miss many of my friends who will return home for work; to those who are graduating and starting a new chapter.

This has been one of the best semesters here at Ohio State; I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

So Long;

Spencer!

Changing Diversity

To foster an idea that we can change diversity with leadership is something that would be difficult to directly teach or actively practice. Rather its something we as leaders must foster within our students and ourselves early on. As a future educator, I am enabled to teach a complex varied background in which i can present students with new and unique opportunities of exploration and involvement.

To see change tomorrow we must start today. Exposure to unique cultures and realms of the world can provide a leadership of sorts in understanding that while we might be different in physical or even mental status we are all one.

Throw Back Thursday

Taking it back on this Throw Back Thursday; its like christmas when the semester ends!

Taking it back on this Throw Back Thursday; its like christmas when the semester ends!

Changing my reflection journal entry up this week by Throwing it back a few years and celebrating the end of the semester as it rail roads in. Lucky me, the semester ends the same day I can legally drink a beer- Happy Birthday to me right?

As class concludes the projects and task are mounting; this week I finished compiling my PDP and wrote a synopsis of my book report, The Audacity of Hope.

This is likely my final journal entry.

Keep it real Ohio State.

Taste of Spring

What a nice taste of spring we have had the past couple of days, by the looks of the Oval, students like myself were suffering from serve spring fever. Great time to get active again outdoors!

Quick update today, working towards compiling my PDP which is due next week. I mostly just need to print my documents for this to be done.

Finalizing scheduling for Summer and Fall 2014.

I have one more essay to write prior to finals week!

Hard to believe that Spring Semester is over, it certainly went faster than Fall did!

Got to run!

Spencer

A look back at the events of the week!

Yello! I’m gonna venture of the path of norm here at post a little bit of the things I need to get done. With a busy weekend of work ahead, little down will allow me to work on my studies!

  • Plan my independent study
  • Complete an Essay for 2309
  • Review for Stats 3537
  • Order Summer Books
  • Follow up on a grade in my 5442 Course.

As you can see, I have plenty to do- so for now I sign off!

Hang Ten,

Spencer

Cheers to the weekend!

Stopping in to say a little hello! Its so exciting that the weekend is here, I am even more excited to spend some time with new friends here in Columbus! To make things better I have today and tomorrow off form work!

Regarding class work I completed and submitted my Leadership book review over Barack Obama and the Audacity of Hope. A book which sheds light on the stalemate  leadership in Washington and how a young Senator from Illinois would soon be catapulted into the oval office of the White House. I think you’ll enjoy this review, which is poised in no slanting view point politically.

Well time to shower, get around, grab some lunch and get some more work done!

From the comfort of my couch,

Spencer!

In like a Lion. Out like a Lamb.

What a teaser the weather outside is being~ but it appears mother nature is going to soon usher in Spring! After a nice enjoyable spring break, most of which I spent making or spending money was a nice break from class. I wish somehow the University could structure Fall Semester more like Spring, the semester has simply flown by!

That said many second half class project deadlines are fast approaching. Book reports, essays and research papers are flow-in right on in! I have nearly completed my book report due this week and have begun to establish the layout of my Personal Development Plan.

I found a great new quote that I thought was worthy of sharing:

There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.

Cheers to Spring,

Spencer!

Past Halfway!

Well we can officially say that the semester is a wee bit over halfway over! Pretty exciting as I begin the down hill ride of my junior year. Quickly though before my computer dies, I have submitted my strengths report to the drop box per class instructions on Tuesday.

Its melting!

Thankfully after many daunting weeks of winter and frigid temperatures snow and gloomy days the snow has begin to pass; also making only the third straight Tuesday of Classes this semester.

None the less I am rapidly crossing many tasks off my list~ yay!

Tuesday we spent time is class sharing our personal philosophy statements in small groups. Select classmates shared aloud to the class.

We also completed a mid term; a review of the course for Mr. B.

Tally ho,

Spencer!
