Nice to meet you! I am a freshman student from China which is a country far away from the U.S. My Chinese name is Wei Wenxiu and, in Chinese characters, my name is “韦文修”. Like most boys, I play video games. I play different kinds of games, and games with good stories appeals to me best. When I was a little boy, I have 
dreamed of becoming a video game producer and this is also the mean reason why I choose Computer and Information science as my major. Besides, I am also enthusiastic about making plastic models, like Gundam model and animation character figures.
Cross-bone Gundam I made before came to the U.S.
I lived in a province in the east of China called Shandong for my entire life before I go to university. My city is called Dongying, a new city in Shandong famous for its production of oil. Actually, there is nothing appealing in Dongying. However, Shandong, is a perfect place in my view. There are mountains and seas in or nearby Shandong which are all beautiful landscapes. Bedsides, Shandong is also the home province of Confucius. Confucius was born in a city called Qufu which is near to my home city and I went to there before I went to university. That is a city with plenteous culture foundation and I was really educated by Confucius’s thinking.
Now I am in Ohio State University, my dream school. OSU is a beautiful school, and after four day of class, I am more found of this school. I love the views here, friendly schoolmates here and hardworking professor here. Everything in OSU I awesome for me. Besides, I have opportunities to learn whatever I what to learn. I choose Computer and Information Science as my major, because computer appeals to me so much since I was a child. It is like a wonder zone that I can explore and find everything I am interested or a never-end-road that I can always discover new things on the way forward.
