Sketches and their Orthographic Drawings
Objective
Focus on your craft while transforming three of your square designs from ‘2D Principles and Squares’ to a 3D model, keeping the aerial view of the 3D model the same as the 2D design. Make 2D plans and orthographic drawings to use as a tool to build with precision.
Final
Reflection
This project taught me a lot about the importance of craft and how having precise, mapped drawings and notes can help to make that building period worlds easier. In retrospection, I have a much better understanding of orthographic drawings and how to more effectively utilize them than I did before starting my building period. This project was definitely eye-opening and from here on out, I actively started trying to plan my projects more accurately.
