I chose this photo as my first artifact because it marks my first week of being an Ohio State student.  During this time, I felt extremely overwhelmed with everything going on, but luckily my Mount family helped me with the transition.  This photo was taken on the day that my “Mount parents” showed me around campus.  It was great talking to them and listening to their advice on how to navigate such a large university.  It was wonderful to hear that my mega was also a pre-med student and he has been a fantastic resource.  It is always nice connecting with your peers and I know that it was a top notch decision to choose an organization that is centered around team building; I love being a team player.  So far, I have been able to form strong connections with the students in Mount and I am very glad I chose this scholars program.
