Washington County 4-H Volunteer Mary Ann Mitchell will be honored on March 12 at the Ohio 4-H Conference with the 2022 Meritorious Service Award. Mary Ann is a 46 year volunteer that gives because she wants to help provide opportunities for learning and growth for the youth in Washington County. Mary Ann Mitchell has served as a club advisor for the Thundering Hoofs 4-H club, and served on our Washington County 4-H Saddle Horse Committee. Mary Ann is a very active volunteer where she helps to organize educational equine session, PAS Shows and assists with the County Fair and our local independent fair as well. Mary Ann has a love of horses and shares that passion with the young members of our organization.
Registration to attend the conference is due Friday, February 11.
The 4-H Advisory Committee provides funds to cover the registration fee, however a $10 commitment fee is required.
