Hello my name is Andrew Warman and I am a first year at Ohio State University. I am from Loveland Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati and attended Saint Xavier High School. I am majoring in architecture and also minoring in interior design. I decided to go into the Knowlton architecture program because it has been a dream of mine since I was a child playing with Lego toys to be able to actually design homes myself one day. My dream is to end up going to graduate school in California, eventually work for a design company named BAMO, and if I am able to, create my own residential design firm and build contemporary modern homes.
I chose Ohio State because for some reason, I knew this was the place for me. The big amount of endless opportunities and endless amounts of people to meet, and that is the best environment for me. I love that there are so many different clubs, recreational sports, and communities that I can join. But also, I have smaller communities such as the Knowlton school(around 500 people) and Mount Leadership Society Scholars with only 111 in my grade. These communities will give me a sense of comfort that can give me a network that make me feel like I am right at home.
I am very excited for this year and I am very proud to be a part of Mount and Ohio State.
