Recently, I had to shorten one of my succulents because it was getting too tall. In that process, I carefully pulled off the leaves that were towards the bottom and put them off to the side for a week or so because they usually grow roots and a baby succulent. I knew I wanted to keep them and hopefully grow some more. I also took this opportunity to explore succulent mandalas that I wanted to share on here. Here are some really pretty examples from google of how intricate these mandalas can be. The best part is that they are functional and actively growing succulents while still looking really pretty!



And in a perfect world, this is how they will turn out when the succulents grow and the leaves are removed:
I obviously do not have that many leaves or different kinds but I still documented how I did it. These are the leaves from the main plant that I took them off of.

This is a tiny one I grew maybe a month or two ago:
I put a tiny handful of potting soil into a jar lid and laid them out. Then I sprayed them with water. This is my teeny tiny version of a succulent leaf mandala:
