I am a crazy ACG culture fan. ACG culture includes anime, comics, games, light novels and derivative artwork. My love for ACG culture also helps me find how exciting painting and drawing can be. You can always find drawing in my notebook and textbook. The reason I like ACG culture so much is the imagination overflowing from ACG works. My favorite comic artists are Masamune Shirow whose most famous work is Ghost in Shell. He created a cyberpunk world inside his work and reflect on the relationship between human and AI. My favorite animation producer is Kon Satoshi, who is good at arranging storyboard to make the whole story dreamlike. Besides professional anime producer or comic artist, amateur artists also do amazing work and share their work through the Internet with people from the whole world. Thus, ACG culture is creative, inclusive and attractive.

I am a transfer student. My original university is Nanjing Agricultural University, also known as NJAU. The most unforgettable thing for me in NJAU is the foods in the dining hall. Though most menus are traditional Chinese food, the choices are still variable. The dining hall will invent new special menu for specific Chinese festival or season. While the taste of the new menu depends, it is still worth a try. Once the new menu even got reported by local news. In addition to food in the dining hall, the college of food science will also invent new functional food which will be sold in the student shop.

In my opinion, OSU just like a society full with diversity. First, students in OSU come from all over the world, which leads to the fusion of different culture. Secondly, OSU provides students a variety of majors to choose, helping student finding what suits them best. The main aim I came to OSU is to find the career I am willing to explore for my whole life. Now I’m majoring in Computer and Information Science. I choose the Computer and Information Science not only because I am interested in programming, but also because I believe programming will be a necessary skill in the future.
