My name is Julia Waltz, and I am currently a 3rd year accounting student at The Ohio State University. I plan to graduate in the spring of 2022 and take the CPA exam shortly afterward so that I can further develop my future career as a Certified Public Accountant. I am interested in the accounting field because I enjoy working with numbers, and I have advanced problem-solving skills. Along with majoring in accounting, I am also minoring in Human Nutrition because supporting a healthy lifestyle has always been a passion of mine.
My involvement on campus and coursework in challenging classes have improved my interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills immensely. I work at Ohio State as a group fitness instructor, and I love it! I am passionate about fitness and helping others, so this job allows me to combine the two and make an impact on others. I have gained leadership skills that will allow me to teach fitness classes and motivate others to reach their goals. I am also a member of a sorority and just completed a leadership role as Finance Assistant for my sorority. Overall, through my challenging coursework and active involvement on campus, I have learned how to balance my time and priorities to help me succeed across various areas of my life.
