Specialization participants will take part in 30 hours of educational training to learn about pollinator biology, identification and conservation. This training can be at coordinated specialization programs, or through workshops attended closer to home. By completing 30 educational hours and 20 volunteer hours by September of 2017, volunteers will earn certification as OSU Volunteer Pollinator Specialists. Volunteer hours can be obtained at OARDC in Wooster and through pollinator-related projects, gardens or outreach closer to home.

Registration fee includes handouts, course books and materials, attendance at all training sessions, including February 2-day workshop.
