Year in Review

[ “Year in Review”  is where you should reflect on the past year and show how you have evolved as a person and as a student.  You may want to focus on your growth in a particular area (as a leader, scholar, researcher, etc.) or you may want to talk about your overall experience over the past year.  For more information, go to: http://honors-scholars.osu.edu/e-portfolio. High School Activities

In High School I was involved in many activities: Athletics, volunteer organizations, social clubs. I was…

  • Captain of the Varsity Soccer team my senior year,
  • Treasurer of the Interact Club (A volunteer organization sponsored by The Rotary Club),
  • a 3 year member of the Foreign Language Honors Society,
  • a 2 year member of National honors Society,
  • a 3 year member of Student Council,
  • a 3 Year Member of Foreign Language Club.

While maintaining a 4.0 non-weighted GPA, and all of my extra-curricular, I worked the Summer of my Sophmore year at Vogelsang Pump Manufacturer and Winter and Spring my Junior and Senior Year at Panera Bread. The summer before college, I was accepted to the LERCIP Program. Lewis’ Educational Research Collaborative Internship Project is a 10 week internship at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Here I got top level exposure to the field of System Safety while working on a checklist for reviewing Safety Data Packages for items flown to the International Space Station and beyond.
