The object for my GIF is my roommate because I wanted the GIF to be of a person moving. The GIF is of him sitting down at a table but I put the mosaic filter over each photo. Each one become clearer as the GIF cycles through. I think that this piece conveys confusion to clarity. The subject of the GIF isn’t clear until the end. While watching it, things are too blurry to tell. It also reminds me of focusing in on something through a camera.

Miming the Web (Logic)
This picture is about idolizing celebrity’s. All the pictures are only him, nobody else, and the top row of pictures are his album covers. The pictures also go from his first appearances as a celebrity to present day. It shows how easy it is to find endless pictures of people that are celebrity’s. Its weird to compare it to ourselves because if you search your name, nowhere near the same amount of pictures come up.
Erasure
All three of these pictures have the same thing missing. It reminds me of one of the Black Mirror episodes, but the drink and phone are cut out. To me, these objects are like white space. By white space I mean that they are just there and go by un-noticed. So I took them out and literally replaced them with a “white” or blank space.
Memory Layers
My picture depicts my memory of going to Iowa and meeting some of my relatives for the first time. My dads cousin is a volunteer firefighter, mechanic, and owner of a gas station. They are all really big Cleveland Indians fans. The flannel pattern was put in because it reminded me of the country/small town.
