You have run a bike shop all your life, importing bike parts from various countries outside of Vietnam. However, over night, your business was raided and seized by the new regime. All your work and items, your living, has been confiscated and turned over to the communist government. There is nothing left here for you anymore.
With the last of your money, you are able to purchase passage from a boatmaster to escape Vietnam. Yet, to do this, the boatmaster requires minimal personal possessions in case of the group is captured in order to sell the lie they were just “catching fish.” You are allowed one personal possession to take.
