Over the past year, I believe that I have become a much stronger, more patient, and more confident individual. This could be because I chose to take on more leadership roles over the past year. When I was in high school, I was always known for being fairly quiet. As I became older, I figured that if I wanted to be taken seriously in the future, I should at least make myself known as a good leader. So with that, I began to join more clubs. I even starting running for officer positions within those particular clubs.  I had so much fun with all this that I decided to apply to be a part of the Mount Scholars program to better my skills as a leader. I absolutely cannot wait to start the year as a Mount Scholar!
