Brief description of the weekly topic

 What I learned this week… (We tied all the weeks together. From week 1 through week 15)

 How I will use this knowledge in the future… (I have already started using this knowledge through my teaching at Fort Hayes Career Center. We have a School Acceptable Use Policy in place as well as I am constantly monitoring my students by walking around a lot.

 What is the relative advantage of using ____(X) technology?  (It is one of the most important aspect of the use of technology in the classroom or at a business. Safety in the tech world what right and what wrong.)

 (I wonder would happen if … I now start really using this material to teach my classes.)

 What I learned this week… (This week we self-directed learning through small group activity in Security issues, ethics and emerging technologies as well as digital citizenship)

 How I will use this knowledge in the future… (I have already started using this knowledge through my teaching at Fort Hayes Career Center. We have a School Acceptable Use Policy in place as well as I am constantly monitoring my students by walking around a lot.

 What I learned this week… (This week we talked about evaluating technologies and integration strategies)

 How I will use this knowledge in the future… (It helps me with what is appropriate to use, what are my peers using, how does it work etc…)

 What is the relative advantage of using ____(X) technology?  (It is always important to be up to date. Typically we usually get new texts about every 5 years in High school but you can’t wait when it comes to technology it changes rapidly)

 (I wonder would happen if … I went back to trying to teach my students without the use of technology)

 What I learned this week… (Social, legal and Ethical Issues pertaining to the digital world. Then we wrote about issues that impacted us and how should we resolve them.)

 How I will use this knowledge in the future… (I will use this in my classroom. We do a lot of computer work. Ethic is a major part of becoming a surgical technician.)

 What is the relative advantage of using ____(X) technology?  (It important when I present the students with the School Acceptable Use Policies)

 (I wonder would happen if … I asked my students to read this article and write me a summary. )

Brief description of the weekly topic: This week we met in the classroom and discussed how to make a web Quest

What I learned this week: I learned the ins and out of Web Quest developing

How I will use this knowledge in the future: I am currently trying to set a Web Quest

What is the relative advantage of using Carmen Connect technology? It will enhance my way through OSU

I wonder would happen if … (I give this my best shot.)

Brief description of the weekly topic: We had small group discussion again.

What I learned this week: Our discussion was on Integrating digital media and educational software applications.  Our discussion went much better with the exception of a computer glitch.

How I will use this knowledge in the future: I like the small group discussion. I am going to try to use this in the future..

What is the relative advantage of using Carmen Connect technology? It will enhance my way through OSU

I wonder would happen if … (I actually try this with my classroom.)

Brief description of the weekly topic: We truly had introduction to computers. I t was an online class lecture.

What I learned this week: The basics behind computers

How I will use this knowledge in the future: I probably wont use this info in the future.

Brief description of the weekly topic: We met in our small groups online.

What I learned this week: Online group discussion is difficult at first but once we got the bugs out it went smoothly.

How I will use this knowledge in the future: I would like to try this in my class once we get the bogs workout of our schools technology.

I wonder would happen if … (I knew what I was doing.)

Brief description of the weekly topic: Tonight we met on line and discussed two different topics.

What I learned this week: I learned about technology in the classroom and the 5 Js

How I will use this knowledge in the future: It was a good discussion and I was able to use some of the input in dealing with some of the new technologies I use in my classroom .

What is the relative advantage of using Carmen Connect technology? It will enhance my way through OSU

I wonder would happen if … (I was more prepared.)

Brief description of the weekly topic: This week we learned a variety of topic dealing with different types of web sites.

What I learned this week: I learned about Prezi,  voice thread and tag cloud.

How I will use this knowledge in the future: I have already used voice thread when I was teaching my OGT science class.

What is the relative advantage of using Carmen Connect technology? It will enhance my way through OSU

I wonder would happen if … (If I started using other sites or processing material beside PowerPoint.)
