Dr. Achmad Ridwan is a full-time lecturer in Physical Chemistry and Chemical Education, UNJ Faculty of Science and Mathematics. Inaugurated as UNJ Vice Rector for Planning and Cooperation Affairs for period June 2014 – 2018, he is responsible for planning development of UNJ; initiating, maintaining and developing UNJ cooperation affairs and networking among local, regional and international institutions.

With his expertise in ICT in education, Dr. Achmad Ridwan is a Chief of Division of Technological and Profesional Skill Development Sector Project at UNJ since 2005. Hence, he was chosen as a Director of the UNJ Center for Information Technology Development in 2002 – 2004. He was an Advisory for ICT in Education for Microsoft Indonesia in 2004-2011.

Having some working experiences in teacher and learning, Dr. Achmad Ridwan was invited as a Judge for Worldwide Innovative Teacher on October 2007 in Helsinki Finland, Judge for Asia Pacific Regional Innovative Teacher on April 2008 in Hanoi, Vietnam, and Judge for Worldwide Innovative Teacher on October 2008 in Hongkong. He also actively works at National Board for Education Standard (BSNP) as an adhoc expert team since 2007- present. In addition, he has experiences as an advisory for “MGMP-Kimia” Jakarta in 2004 and as a Technical Assistance for teaching and learning process in several university.

Dr. Achmad Ridwan began his career as a full-time lecturer in Physical Chemistry, Chemical Education and Computer of UNJ in 1987. He is graduated from Institute for Teacher Training and Education (IKIP) Jakarta with Bachelor Degree in Chemical Education. He hold a Master of Science in Physical Chemistry from Gadjah Mada University and a Doctor’s Degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Management from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). He is now a Candidate Doctor in Research and Evaluation Program at UNJ.

In order to develop his skill in teaching and ICT, he actively joined some international trainings and workshops in Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
